FT-897 Go-Kit

From The Unofficial FT-897 Wiki

What do I need for a "Go Kit" and what have I got?

What should be included?

Below we have started a list of items for a Go-Kit, grab bag or whatever you want to call it.

So far we have not listed Gadgets (except the Mobile Phone), but these days with Book Readers and dare I say it, iPhones, etc you could have all the Maps, Manuals, Band Plans and other information stored digitally. Whilst in theory this is good, you have to remember you might not have power to recharge them.
